received another call from that number again today. How can I stop this?

Call came thru, I answered and got a busy signal. When I called back I got message'not accepting calls or phone out of service'

Scam about lowering credit rates. When I pressed 1 to tell them to take my name off their call list, the guy swore at me and told me he'd call me "every f**king day, b**ch!". NOT HAPPY.

Who are these people?

This is a collection agency called "United Recovery Services". They are based out of Houston, Texas and they use local call routing to make the call from them appear to be local when in fact they are calling from Texas. Depending on how they spoof the local digits for caller id this may be illegal, but at they very least it is unethical. Then again, since when have collection agencies ever been worried about ethics?

called at 9am one morning, 1 min phone call nowi got a phonebill thats 40$

keeps calling, chose to ignore as have read about this number, 5 calls in the last two days

Lady with very thick accent (very hard to understand) called asking for an employee (lots of background noise with others talking, sounded like same conversations taking place). Said she is calling from a legal office, but would not give name of company. Told her she would have to reach employee at home if this was a personal business call. She kept insisting that I take a message. Told her I would not. Ended call. Called so number back, no introduction or company name, a guy name Don answered.
